Lumen Design
Kyub is a modular cabin kit currently in development. My job was to develop a logo and visual system that will grow with the company. Playing off the form of the structure (in the K), a hand crafted typeface was developed. A combination between a stencil typeface and a warm italic/hand-drawn face the type becomes the signature. Play on form develops this shape into a memorable iconic brand. The model home is currently being built so developing a visual without the final photography of the structure felt important. By using the shape of kyub within a landscape, the vision of the cabin in the woods starts to develop.
