Chatter Marks Issue 01
Anchorage Museum
Introducing Chatter Marks, Anchorage Museum’s inaugural print exploration of ideas. The museum approaches concepts from multiple disciplines and in a variety of formats, and having a format that can turnaround quickly with both visuals and narrative allows the museum to go deeper than what can be exhibited on the walls.
We wanted the journal to be semi-formal, allow for large use of photography and playful illustrations along with longer narrative spreads. The typefaces need to accommodate both, now and into the future. Different page sizes allow for an interactive experience between pages. Illustrations cross over pages and tie narratives together. Concept, format, and design by Creative Space.
