Clarence Plains, Tasmania

Clarence Plains, Tasmania collaborative One Community Together commissioned Creative Space to help build a new identity through community engagement, public art & communication design -creating a welcoming and proud art piece that captures the spirit of Clarence Plains. We flew down for the installation after working with the community for a year on concept and design.

We celebrate our home with this typographic roadside installation. Built out of “dedots” placed by members of the community, it serves as a reminder that each of us plays a part in creating something larger and more meaningful because of our contribution to it. The message changes as one passes by, but is reinforced the more we pass by it. A custom typefecase was created for this project. This font is used in collateral to build support and awareness of the project. This project was a collaboration with Hobart’s futago.
